By creating an institution you become an “admin” user for that institution. This will automatically subscribe you to the admin mailing list. In addition, any user that you make an admin of your institution will be added to the mailing list.
The content of the emails from the mailing list will be limited to updates about features and release dates, with the very occasional feedback survey.
You will be able to unsubscribe at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in any email from CEO.
The mailing list is run through a service called HubSpot. Your email will not be shared with any third party organization.

An admin user on behalf of a Project administrator organization (“Institution”) may designate content contributions as “private” or “public” (i.e., subject to a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license) (each a “License Designation”). An admin user is solely responsible for ensuring it has all the necessary rights, licenses, permissions and consent to make, and to the extent applicable modify, each License Designation.
By making a License Designation, the admin user represents and warrants that the admin user and Institution have all rights, licenses, permissions, consents and other authority necessary to make the content contributions available under the selected License Designation(s).
Disclaimer; Release. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE CEO PARTIES SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO ANY LICENSE DESIGNATION OR CHANGE TO A LICENSE DESIGNATION. THE ADMIN USER, ON BEHALF OF ITSELF AND THE INSTITUTION AND THE RELEVANT CONTENT CONTRIBUTION OWNER(S), HEREBY RELEASES AND FOREVER DISCHARGES THE CEO PARTIES FROM ANY CLAIM, DEMAND, LIABILITY, LOSS, DAMAGE, COST, OR EXPENSE ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO ANY LIABILITY ARISING FROM THE FOREGOING.
Indemnification. The Admin User and Institution shall defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the CEO Parties from and against any damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) incurred in connection with any third-party claim, action, demand, or proceeding arising out of or relating to: (i) any License Designation or (ii) any alleged violation of a third party’s intellectual property, privacy, confidentiality, publicity, or other rights resulting from any content contributions.
For purposes of these Terms of Service, “CEO” or “Collect Earth Online” means the Collect Earth Online platform located at https://app.collect.earth/ and the consortium, network, and community of private and public organizations, governmental and nongovernmental organizations, institutions, funders, developers, contributors, and other partners that collaborate to develop, operate, host, maintain, support, or otherwise make Collect Earth Online available, including their respective successors, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives (collectively, the “CEO Parties”). The CEO Parties include, without limitation, organizations and agencies participating in or supporting the SERVIR Network and identified from time to time at https://www.collect.earth/about/.
